Are you seeing hotter summers? How about warmer winters? Does Climate Change actually exist? Scientists are in agreement that there are definite swings in our weather. Could this be a perennial sine wave of warming and cooling, or is this a one-way street?

Wolfgang Bauer, a university distinguished professor in the department of physics and astronomy at Michigan State University, will present the following lecture: Why It Is Getting Hotter, and What We Can Do to Avoid Sliding into the Climate Apocalypse?

Professor Bauer, besides teaching, is a member of a MSU group designing the energy transition plan for that university.

Invocation: Eric Nelson
Introduction: Vince Schumacher

Energy

  1. “Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.” – Albert Einstein
  2. “A transition to clean energy is about making an investment in our future.” – Gloria Reuben
  3. “Everything we make pollutes. The most responsible thing we can do is to make each product as well as we know how so it lasts as long as possible.” – Yvon Chouinard
