In today’s fast-paced and demanding work environments, employees often grapple with personal issues that can significantly impact their well-being, job performance, and overall quality of life. The struggle with personal problems—whether they stem from mental health challenges, family issues, financial stress, or other personal difficulties—can have far-reaching effects on the workplace, their families, and themselves.

Workplaces have several options available to alleviate the stress for employees with personal problems, such as employee assistance programs, referrals to personal counseling, and even one-on-one meetings with their managers. However, sometimes more options are needed.

Marketplace chaplains is an organization of specialized pastoral caregivers who provide spiritual and emotional support within business and professional environments. Unlike traditional chaplains who might work in hospitals, military settings, or schools, marketplace chaplains focus on the workplace.

Our speaker is Greg Boisture, Executive Director of Operations – West Michigan Division for Marketplace Chaplains. He will present on how this organization helps businesses and their employees in West Michigan.
