Kent County Prosecuting Attorney, Christopher Becker, is ultimately responsible to protect the rights, safety, and security of Kent County's residents by prosecuting all criminal offenses, supporting crime victims, establishing paternity and child support, and intervening in situations where children have been neglected or abused in the county.

Working out of the main office downtown at 82 Ionia Avenue, the various offices are Criminal & Appeals Division, Juvenile Division, Family Division, Victim/Witness Unit.

Prosecuting Attorney Becker will present on  the subject of Youth Violence, which is defined as the intentional use of physical force or power to threaten or harm others by young people.
