According to NASA.gov, "For over a century, solar eclipses helped scientists decipher the Sun's structure and explosive events, find evidence for the theory of general relativity, and discover a new element, among other things. Today, NASA scientists still study eclipses to make new discoveries about the Sun, Earth, and our space environment."
Our local astronomer, Dave DeBruyn, will go out of his way to wake up before 7 AM and present to us The Great American Solar Eclipse of April 8, 2024 and how you can plan to see it.

Solar Eclipse
Why would you pay to provide your enemy with a great view of a solar eclipse? So you can send him to where the sun don't shine.
What will the moon bring to the beach on April 8, 2024? Sunblock.
Boy: Dad, can you tell me what an eclipse is? Dad: No, sun.
