According to the National Center for Victims of Crime, "People age 65 and older experience the same crimes as the rest of the population, including financial victimization, neglect, and physical, sexual, or emotional abuse. However, older adults may be less likely to recover from their victimization, and are often sought out because of their age and decreased likelihood of reporting."

Are you getting ripped off by family or caregivers? Is someone abusing or mistreating you? Are you wondering if that Nigerian prince emailing and texting you is going to pay off in return for your financial assistance and all your personal information? If you or someone you know over 65 years old answered yes to any of these questions (or you never want to answer yes), then you'll want to attend this session of the Breakfast Club where Kent County Prosecutor, Christopher Becker, will define the segments of elder crime and show you how to prevent it.

  3. We could certainly slow the aging process down if it had to work its way through Congress.
