Opera Grand Rapids’ final production of this program year is Aida, Giuseppe Verdi’s haunting war extravaganza between the forces of Egypt and Ethiopia; a story of betrayal and heartbreak; a tragedy on a major scale that opera is known for. The production will be in Devos Hall featuring the Grand Rapids Symphony. Ms. Miranda Krajniak will give us the highlights and why you don’t have to be an opera buff to enjoy Verdi’s captivating characters and beautiful score. We all have a large plate of activities in West Michigan, and you may want to put Aida somewhere near the top of your plans for May.

Invocator: Mr. Eric Nelson
Introducer: James Booth Burr, Jr.
