Thanksgiving is a day of peace, a day to “give thanks,” a day to congregate with those folks we call “relatives.” No, the Breakfast Club of Early Risers will NOT be serving turkey, mincemeat pie, taters, stuffing and wonderful veggies, but we will be bestowing no less than TEN Meijer gift cards! You are not eligible for the drawing unless you are present. But your real enjoyment will be listening to our own Rev. Maurice A. Fetty, retired but still very active, tell us about “The First Thanksgiving, 1621.” No, the good Reverend was not personally present then, but will rely on his copious studies, and conversations with some Breakfast Clubbers, who might have been.

Invocator: Mr. Eric Nelson
Introducer: Mr. Paul Chardoul
