A chance to learn a bit of a fairly rare disease called myasthenia gravis. The name comes from Latin and Greek origin – serious or grave muscular weakness. The weaknesses often affects the eye muscles to facial muscles and then limb muscles; eye problems such as drooping and double vision; and associated problems with speaking, swallowing (leading to choking easily) and chewing. The Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of Michigan is one of many organizations that fight the disease. You will learn that even though the number of patients is low, the medical people still have not developed a cure. Hey – Who wants to win a prize for bringing a guest/proposed member? Don’t get cut off – Bring a guest and you may walk home with a neat prize!

Question #1 What is the Dirt Bag Index? By multiplying the number of teeth by the number of tattoos; or, estimating the number of days since last shower.

Question #2 Contagious diseases. Some guy told me some jokes about contagious diseases. But I didn’t get any of them.

Question #3 Wife/Alzheimer’s. I think my wife has started to show the first signs of Alzheimer’s disease. She says she doesn’t remember what she ever saw in me.
