WEDNESDAY, MARCH 30, 2022  –  7:15 a.m.

A “Web of deception?” No, our next program will deal with the James Webb Space Telescope that left our Earth last Christmas, headed for the real boonies in outer space. Who better to tell us about this Webb other than our long-time former BC member, Dave DeBruyn, astronomer par excellent! Imagine: a ten billion dollar space craft traveling more than a million miles from the 5/3 Bank Building, and, on the opposite side of the sun. There, Dave will report that the gravitational tugs of the earth and sun will balance out, creating a relatively stable environment for spacecraft. How is this boondoggle going to help each of us, like putting extra bucks in our wallets? A fantastic program for that good buddy of yours who has always wanted to know a little about outer space; or the BC.
