We look around and about our homes and work stations to see the needs of our fellow man,  Sure, it isn’t “up” to par with our Ms. Pelosi and her neighbors in San Fran.  The pandemic has not helped.  There is a bright side.  We have invited a public-spirited community member and a lawyer to boot, James B. Flickinger, Esq. to tell us of his passion to help the down-trodden, not only here but also in South America.  His program is called Amazon Relief.  Learn what he and his volunteers are doing and what the future plans will be.

From the Head Table:  An elderly man hurried to his 8:00 a.m. doctor appointment.  He wanted to finish quickly so he could keep another appointment.  The physician asked what it was, and he proudly said that every morning at 9:00 a.m. at the hospital he had breakfast with his wife.  The doctor inquired about her condition and the man told him that for five years she has had Alzheimer’s and hadn’t known who he was.  The doctor asked why he continues if she has no idea who he is.  The old man replied “because I still know who she is.”  Anon.

(2):  What’s the difference between being vegan and having COVID -19?  With COVID the loss of taste is only temporary.
