We have grown to the great art movies at UCIA where Division and Fulton intersect. That will be all gone this summer when UCIA moves into its new home in the old federal building; post office; FBI; Federal district and bankruptcy court; GRAM and Festival exhibit space. What are UCIA’s plans for people of all ages (well, let’s not talk about the senior table)? We have invited Miranda Krajniak, the new director, to tell us about the plans for the depression era federal building and the art clinic we will be promised. By the way, we may have a prize for anyone that can identify the location of the Cody Hotel. Any takers?
Invocator: Mr. Eric Nelson
Introducer: James Booth Burr, Jr., Esq.
Art: “If more than ten percent of the population likes a painting, it should be burned, for it must be bad.” George Bernard Shaw.
Art (2): “The true artist will let his wife starve, his children go barefoot, his mother drudge for his living at seventy, sooner than work at anything but his art.” George Bernard
COVID (less): Life is not a fairy tale. If you lose your shoe at midnight, you’re drunk.
