Habitat for Humanity International, generally referred to as Habitat for Humanity or Habitat, is an international, non-governmental, and nonprofit organization, which was founded in 1976 by the couple Millard and Linda Fuller.  Habitat is a Christian organization.  The international operational headquarters are located in Americus, Georgia, United States, with the administrative headquarters located in Atlanta.  As of 2020, Habitat for Humanity operates in all 50 U.S. states and more than 70 countries.  Always a special treat, we have invited Michael Hyacinthe from HFH Grand Rapids to bring us up-to-date with Habitat’s latest news.  We are proud that John Benz is an Emeritus Member of Habitat for his many contributions and, if available, will be asked to introduce Mike.

Invocator:    Mr. Eric Nelson

Introducer:    Mr. John Benz

House: “A man in the house is worth two in the street.” Mae West (“Belle of the Nineties.”)

COVID - The NOVID-19: The nineteen minutes after a too-close interaction with a mask-less stranger during which you experience a thickness in your throat and a certainty you are dying. This sometimes lasts longer if frantic hand washing, anesthetic gargling, and estate planning are not readily available. New Yorker.

From the Head Table: “You know that you live in a great country when even the people that absolutely detest it refuse to leave.” Candace Owens (Black American conservative columnist and writer)
