We rush to avoid COVID-19.  We are stranded from good friends and neighbors.  We are tied to our residences and, like the Lone Ranger, we are required to wear a mask.  What does this do to our thinking processes, our urges to communicate with our fellow beings, our absences from religious services, high school graduations and the occasional trip to the er, well, the gym?  We have asked long-time BC favorite philosopher David Kampfschulte to make some suggestions on how and why we should face this crisis.

Invocator:   Mr. Keith C. Vandercook

Introducer:   James Booth Burr, Jr., Esq.

Health: “The only way to keep your health is to eat what you don’t want, drink what you don’t like, and do what you’d rather not.” Mark Twain

Meek: “Pity the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.” Don Marquis

Fate: No matter how much you push the envelope, it’ll still be stationary.
