What is Ele's Place?  Ele's Place is a nonprofit, community-based organization with a mission to create awareness of and support for grieving children and their families at the end.  Through peer support group programs, Ele's Place helps children to cope with the death or life-threatening illness of a parent, sibling or other close family member or friend.  We have invited Tammy Squire, Director of Ele’s Place, and Julie De Jong, LMSW, Program Director.  We are never totally prepared when the time comes; all of our life experiences assist but cannot fully compensate the final loss.

Invocator:   Mr. Keith D. Vandercook

Introducer:   James Booth Burr, Jr., Esq.

Death:  “It’s not that I’m afraid to die. I just don’t want to be there when it happens.” Woody Allen

Paraprosdokian:  There’s a fine line between cuddling and holding someone down so they can’t get away.

From the Head Table:    “You know that you live in a great country when even the people that absolutely detest it refuse to leave.” Candace Owens – American black conservative

Paul’s Report: What do you get when you cross a dyslexic, an insomniac, and an agnostic? Someone who lays awake at night wondering if there is a dog.
