  • Most of us get these healthy gas and electric bills from one of our favorite utilities: DTE.  Besides supplying heat and light, DTE is heavily involved in renewable energy – read wind and solar projects.  We have invited Brian J. Dantas, DTE supervisor for Renewable Energy Development, in overall charge of renewable energy.  Lest you think your BC is getting too provincial, Mr. Dantas received his environmental studies from the University of Windsor. Come and enjoy a solid program of what our grandchildren will look forward to and benefit from.  Yes, you may bring a copy of last year's heating bill, but no flashlights. And, bring a guest.

Invocator:    Mr. Keith D. Vandercook ("La Fortuna Emparie Mundi")

Introducer:  James Booth Burr, Jr., Esq.

Energy: "Genius is mainly an affair of energy, and poetry is mainly an affair of genius; therefore, a nation whose spirit is characterized by energy may well be eminent in poetry – and we have Shakespeare."  Matthew Arnold (English Victorian poet and literary and social critic)

From the Head Table:  I thought getting old would take longer.

Paraprosdokian:   In filling out an application, where it says. "In case of emergency, notify …." I answered 'a doctor.'"
