We think and breathe in the Season; watching our younger relatives enjoy the Christmas tree, the colorful floral arrangements, sumptuous food, and yes, the gifts. We even think back to a time when we were kids, in elementary school, sledding, skiing, and sometimes snowballing. To heighten those days of yesteryear, we have invited Joeanne Peterson, story teller, teacher, actress and bon vivant. She has been asked to story tell us back in time to when her six foot tall Nordic grandmother ruled the roost during the holiday season. The presentation is the “Swedish Nightingale.” Yes, if you know a Nord, or two, invite them to your Breakfast Club for our last meeting of the Year. There is no guest charge for potential members. Oh, and don’t forget the colorfully decorated Meijer gift cards that lucky BCers will take home. You can’t win if you are not with us.

The Beloved Swedes: “This letter is too heavy," the post-clerk stated, "You will have to put on an additional stamp." The swede looked wonderingly at him, "Will it be lighter then?" he asked.
Paraprosdokian: Some people hear voices. Some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever.
